Welcome to Alderbrook Sixth Form
Your Sixth Form years are some of the most exciting of your academic journey. Filled with new challenges, subjects, staff and hopefully new friends too, here at Alderbrook we aim to nurture these precious years and help you take your final steps into adulthood with confidence.
We offer a great range of subjects at AS and A Level here at Alderbrook, however our programme is designed to equip you with more than just good grades. For you to succeed beyond the school environment you will need to demonstrate independence, confidence and determination. We want to ensure you are given every support in planning your chosen route past Sixth Form education, whether it is to university, an apprenticeship or full time employment.
The fact that we are relatively new with a smaller than average community of students means we can focus on you as an individual: ultimately, we are interested in your success, on an individual basis. You will be studying in an environment where staff care about your personal development and your academic progress.
We believe that in choosing to study with us at Alderbrook you will be making the right choice. We look to forward to welcoming you soon.

What our students say
“I really enjoyed my experience of Alderbrook and truly appreciated the diversity and different abilities that the school catered for. It would have been an incredible opportunity to have carried on for sixth form studies because of the brilliant standard of teaching. "
Katie Grace - Top Performing Student 2014: 13 A*& 2 A. Now studying at a school Sixth Form
“Even though I am enjoying my sixth form education, I do really miss the atmosphere and life at Alderbrook. I would have loved to have had the chance to do my A Levels there as I was extremely comfortable with all the teachers and pupils."
Kirsty Murrall - Now studying at a school Sixth Form
“Alderbrook was an experience I’ll never forget. It allowed me to realise the importance of working hard to achieve things I had never thought I could. If I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to stay on at the Alderbrook Sixth Form; I would”.
Dominique Clarke - Now studying at a Sixth Form College
“At post 16 I attended Alderbrook School’s Drama Department. The course was really challenging and very successful. Between the great facilities, inspirational teaching and engaging lessons, I was equipped not only with the skills I needed to continue my training afterwards, but the motivation to succeed as an actor”.
Josh Johnson - Graduate BA (Hons) Acting, Birmingham School of Acting 2014
